We are in the finest happiness, yet

We are amid the greatest joy, yet

only with you is happiness complete.

عيبُ ما نحن فيه يا أهل ودِّي

أنَّكم غبتُمُ ونحنُ حُضورُ

أنَّكم غبتُمُ ونحنُ حُضورُ

The one flaw in all we enjoy, O my dear ones,

The flaw in what we enjoy, O those I love,

is that you are absent while we are here.

فأجِدُّوا المسيرَ بل إن قدرتُم

أن تطيروا معَ الرياحِ فطيروا
