Whose are the dwellings, their traces desolate?
Homes left with naught but traces
Winds and rain have played upon them.
Where spirits and rain once played

حِجَجٌ مَضَينَ ثَمانٍ أَو عَشرُ
And since their dweller departed, there have passed
Now devoid of all who dwelt there
Eight or ten years.
Pilgrims pass, years slip away

And saffron lies upon her upper chest;
Saffron petals on ruins
Her throat-hollows and bosom are saturated with it.
