وَاِحتَثَّ كل بازِل ذقون

وَاِحتَثَّ كل بازِل ذقون

حَتّى رفعن سيرة اللجون

حَتّى رفعن سيرة اللجون

And he urged on every mature, drooping-chinned she-camel,

And every resolute embraced sweet union,

And he urged on every full-grown, sturdy camel,

Until they quickened the sluggish camel’s pace.

Until they raised the banner of glory.

Until they quickened the pace of the sluggish ones.
