من لم يُلاقِ كرامات الرجال له
بالشكرwith gratitude أصبحbecomes فيin طُرقthe paths الهوانof humiliation لَقىa castoff
بالشكر أصبح في طُرق الهوان لَقى
Whoever does not respond to men's kindness toward him
He who has never been graced by men's generosity
with gratitude becomes a castoff on the paths of humiliation.
