The sickness in my body was already enough for you.

Why have you added to my sickness? May sleeplessness never touch you.

An eye kept sleepless, and a body ensnared,

And the heart between them, with which thoughts commune in solitude.

O you who deny me the world's delight, for all its vastness,

Indeed, a look at your face is enough to content me.
