مؤاربٌdevious فيin قولِهhis speech وفِعلِهِand his conduct
مؤاربٌ في قولِه وفِعلِهِ
منافقa hypocrite فيin جَدِّهhis earnestness وهَزلِهِand his jesting
منافق في جَدِّه وهَزلِهِ
Devious in his speech and conduct,
Two-faced in word and deed,
A hypocrite in his earnestness and jest,
Hypocrite in earnest and jest,
قلتُI said وقدand already أنكرتُهI found fault with him لخَتلِهِfor his deceit
قلتُ وقد أنكرتُه لخَتلِهِ
مَنwho لكfor you يوماًever بأخيكwith your brother كلِّهِall of him
مَن لك يوماً بأخيك كلِّهِ
I said, having found fault with him for his deceit:
I spoke though denying you for your misdeed,
Who can ever give you a brother perfect in every way?
Who has a brother for you, all of him?
