خرقa generous man يجودgives freely بمالهof his wealth وبجاههِand of his influence
خرق يجود بماله وبجاههِ
والجودand generosity كلُّall الجودgenerosity بذلgiving of الجاهِinfluence
والجود كلُّ الجود بذل الجاهِ
A generous man gives freely of his wealth and his influence;
He gives generously of his wealth and status,
And generosity—true generosity—is giving of one's influence.
But true generosity is to give up status itself.
