فقال قلبي له لبيك سَعديَكا
Here I am, O one who summoned my heart with his gaze.
I am at your service, O you who called my heart with your gaze
So my heart said to him, “Here I am, ever ready to aid you.”
So my heart said to you "At your service, your happiness"

My heart's love for you is true, and my heart supports it,
Passion for you has been kindled in my heart
If what the glances of your eyes claim is true.
If what your glances claim is true

So lower your eyelid to all but me, that you may be mine alone,
So close your eyelids from others to be sincere to me
And forbid glancing eyes to caress your cheeks.
And ignore the glances that wander on your cheeks

If you repay me fully for my jealousy with delight,
If you spare me your jealousy I will make
I shall make my cheek a shield beneath your sandals.
