لوif حُزَّwere severed بالسيفby the sword رأسيmy head فيfor محبَّتكمlove of you
لو حُزَّ بالسيف رأسي في محبَّتكم
لَمالَwould tilt يهويfalling إليكمtoward you مسرعاًswiftly راسيmy head
لَمالَ يهوي إليكم مسرعاً راسي
If my head were severed by the sword for love of you,
If my head were severed by the sword for love of you
My head would tilt toward you, falling swiftly.
Still would it hurry headlong, flying to your feet.
ولوand even if بَليdecayed تحتbeneath أطباقlayers الثرىthe earth جسديmy body
ولو بَلي تحت أطباق الثرى جسدي
لكنتُI would be أبلىdecaying وماyet not قلبيmy heart لكمof you ناسِforgetful
لكنتُ أبلى وما قلبي لكم ناسِ
And even if my body decayed beneath the layers of earth,
If buried underneath the ground my body lay,
I would decay, yet my heart would not forget you.
My heart for you would still be true and beat.
