Sol 6.1

  1. والله ولو كانت الدنيا بأجمعها

    تبقي علينا ويأتي رزقها رغدا

    By God, even if the world in its entirety

    were to spare us and its sustenance came in abundance,

  2. ما كان من حق حر أن يذل لها

    فكيف وهي متاع يضمحل غدا

    it would not befit a free man to abase himself before it;

    how then, when it is but an enjoyment that vanishes tomorrow?
