ورُقادي إنَّما ينْ
فيهِcompletion of 'banishes it' هَمٌّa worry أناI فيهin it
فيهِ هَمٌّ أنا فيه
And my sleep is banished only
My slumber, truly in it
by a worry in which I dwell.
Is a worry, I am in it
وفؤاديand my heart مِحَنٌtrials تعbeginning of 'afflict it'
وفؤادي مِحَنٌ تع
ريهcompletion of 'afflict it' هَمٌّa worry يعتريهbesets it
ريه هَمٌّ يعتريه
And my heart—trials afflict
And my heart is distressed, being swept
it; a worry besets it.
