يَدَاكَyour two hands يَدٌone hand خَيرُهَاits goodness يُرتَجَىis hoped for
وَأُخرَىand another لِأَعدائِهَاto its enemies غائِظَهenraging
Your two hands: one whose goodness is hoped for,
One hand offers goodness hoped for
And another that enrages its enemies.
The other rages against enemies
فَأمَّاso, as for الَّتيthe one whose خَيرُهاits goodness يُرتَجَىis hoped for
فأجودthen more generous جوداًin giving منthan اللافِظَهthe sea (the caster-forth)
So as for the one whose goodness is hoped for,
The hand with goodness hoped for
It is more generous in giving than the sea.
Is most generous in its giving
وَأَمَّاand as for الَّتيthe one whose يُتَّقَىis guarded against شَرُّهاits harm
فَنَفسُthen the soul العَدُوِّof the enemy لَهاbecause of it فائِظَهdeparting in death
And as for the one whose harm is feared,
The hand whose evil is feared
The enemy’s soul departs because of it.
Makes the enemy's soul quake
