إِنَّindeed الَّذيHe who شَقَّsplit open فَميmy mouth ضامِنُguarantor of
إِنَّ الَّذي شَقَّ فَمي ضامِنُ
الرِزقِsustenance حَتّىuntil يَتَوَفّانيHe takes me in death
الرِزقِ حَتّى يَتَوَفّاني
Indeed, He who split my mouth open guarantees
The one who stitched my mouth shut
my sustenance until He takes me in death.
Is responsible for my livelihood until I pass away
حَرَمتَنيyou deprived me of خَيراًgood كَثيراًmuch فَماyet not
حَرَمتَني خَيراً كَثيراً فَما
زادَكَadded for you فيin مالِكَyour wealth حِرمانيmy deprivation
زادَكَ في مالِكَ حِرماني
You deprived me of much good, yet
You have deprived me of so much good, yet
my deprivation added nothing to your wealth.
My deprivation did not increase your wealth
