His hope beguiles a fool
His foolish hopes deceive him,
until his appointed end arrives.
Until his appointed time draws near;

لَم تُغنِ عَنهُ حِيَلُه
And whoever draws near to his death,
And when death comes upon him,
his stratagems avail him nothing.
His cunning will not save him.
