وَقَبلَكَ داوى المَريضَ الطَبيبُ

وَقَبلَكَ داوى المَريضَ الطَبيبُ

فَعاشَ المَريضُ وَماتَ الطَبيب

فَعاشَ المَريضُ وَماتَ الطَبيب

And before you, the physician treated the sick man.

Before you the doctor cured the sick

So the sick man lived, and the physician died.

So the sick lived and the doctor died

فَكُن مُستَعِدّاً لِداعي الفَناءِ

فَكُن مُستَعِدّاً لِداعي الفَناءِ

فَإِنَّ الَّذي هُوَ آتٍ قَريب

فَإِنَّ الَّذي هُوَ آتٍ قَريب

So be ready for the herald of death.

Be prepared for the caller of demise

For indeed, what is coming is near.
