اِفخَر وَكاثِر بِالقَريحَ

اِفخَر وَكاثِر بِالقَريحَ

ةِ إِنَّها فَخرُ المَكاثِر

ةِ إِنَّها فَخرُ المَكاثِر

Take pride and vie with others through innate talent;

Boast and take pride in talent

indeed, it is the pride of those who vie.

For it is the pride of prides

وَاِعلَم بَأَنَّ العِلمَ ما

وَاِعلَم بَأَنَّ العِلمَ ما

أوعيتَ في صُحفِ الضَمائِر

أوعيتَ في صُحفِ الضَمائِر

And know that knowledge is what

And know that knowledge is what

you have stored in the pages of hearts.

You comprehend in your conscience's pages
