فَإِنfor indeed قَليلاًfew معشرa company لَستُI am not فيهُمamong them
فَإِن قَليلاً معشر لَستُ فيهُم
وَإِنand indeed كَثيراًmany مَنthose whom أَرىI see فيهُمamong them وَحديon my own
وَإِن كَثيراً مَن أَرى فيهُم وَحدي
For a company without me is small indeed,
Though I'm few in company I find,
And those among whom I see myself alone are many.
Yet many are the ones in whom I see but me alone.
وَلَيسَand is not بِمَنكورto be denied عَلىto اللَهGod قدرةٌpower
وَلَيسَ بِمَنكور عَلى اللَه قدرةٌ
تَريكshows you جَميعall الفَضلexcellence فيin رجلa man فَردsingle
تَريك جَميع الفَضل في رجل فَرد
Nor can God be denied the power
It is no leap for God to grant such grace,
To show you all excellence in a single man.
That in one man all virtue He compound.
