فَأَكثَرتَ حُسّادي وَأَكثَرتَ خِلَّتي

فَأَكثَرتَ حُسّادي وَأَكثَرتَ خِلَّتي

وَكُنتَ وَحُسّادي قَليلَ وَخِلّاني

وَكُنتَ وَحُسّادي قَليلَ وَخِلّاني

So you made my enviers many, and my intimates many;

So you multiplied my enviers and multiplied my friendships;

and you, my enviers, and my intimate friends were few.

And once I had few enviers and few close friends.
