والقلبُand the heart علىdespite نأيكyour distance منwho ثبتهsteadied it
والقلبُ على نأيك من ثبته
أَجمعgather together شملاًa union هواكlove for you قدalready شتتهscattered it
أَجمع شملاً هواك قد شتته
And who steadied the heart despite your distance?
The heart on your absence - who made it remain?
Gather into one what love for you has scattered.
