عسى أنْ تعودَ ليالي زَرُودِ
وتُقضىand be fulfilled المُنَىwishes بنَجازِthrough fulfillment of الوعودِthe promises
وتُقضى المُنَى بنَجازِ الوعودِ
May the nights of Zarud return,
May nights of intimacy return to us,
And wishes be fulfilled through promises kept,
And promises be fulfilled as wished,
وتشرقُand shine أيامناour days الزاهراتُradiant
وتشرقُ أيامنا الزاهراتُ
وتورقُand put forth leaves فيin روضةِthe garden of الوصلِunion عوديmy bough
وتورقُ في روضةِ الوصلِ عودي
And our radiant days shine,
May our blooming days shine bright,
And my bough put forth leaves in the garden of union.
And my willow tree blossom in the garden of reunion.
