  1. وأَنثرُ درَّ الدَّمع من قبلُ أَبيضا

    وقد حالَ مُذْ بِنْتُمُ فأَصبحَ ياقوتا

    And I scatter the pearls of tears, once white;

    but since you departed, they have changed and become rubies.
