تحسّن بأَفعالكَ الصالحاتِ

ولا تُعْجَبَنَّ بحسنٍ جليلِ

ولا تُعْجَبَنَّ بحسنٍ جليلِ

Beautify yourself with your righteous deeds.

Improve yourself with righteous deeds,

And never be dazzled by splendid beauty.

And do not be impressed by great beauty,

فحسنُ النِّساء جمالُ الوجوهِ

فحسنُ النِّساء جمالُ الوجوهِ

وحسنُ الرِّجال وجوهُ الجميلِ

وحسنُ الرِّجال وجوهُ الجميلِ

For women's beauty is the beauty of faces,

For the beauty of women is the beauty of faces,

And men's beauty is the many faces of goodness.

And the beauty of men is the beauty of the noble.
