صارَ قَدري في الناسِ كاسمْي عليّا

صارَ قَدري في الناسِ كاسمْي عليّا

ولساني بالصدقِ أَضحى مَليّا

ولساني بالصدقِ أَضحى مَليّا

My standing among people has become lofty, like my name, Ali.

My destiny among people became like my name Ali

And my tongue has become full of truth.

And my tongue through honesty turned affable

وكأنَّ الإلهَ قال لأجلي

وكأنَّ الإلهَ قال لأجلي

وجعلنا لسانَ صدقٍ عَليّا

وجعلنا لسانَ صدقٍ عَليّا

And it is as though God had said for my sake:

As if God said for my sake

“And We made an exalted tongue of truth.”

And made us a tongue of honest Ali
