فتفضَّلْ وجُدْ بتحقيقِ ظّنِّي
My lord, I have expected kindness of you.
My master, I thought good of you,
So be gracious, and generously fulfill my expectation.
So oblige and fulfill my good opinion.

I long to circumambulate the House, so grant me leave.
I wish to circumambulate the House, so permit,
Indeed, in it lies the wish of the one who longs.
Indeed in it is the wish of the wisher.
حبَّذاhow fine! حبَّذاhow fine! متاعُenjoyment غرورdelusion
حبَّذا حبَّذا متاعُ غرور

يدفعُ الماءَ عنكَ والنّارَ عني
How fine, how fine, an illusory pleasure
How excellent, how excellent is the ware of illusion,
That wards off water from you and fire from me.
It keeps off the water from you and the fire from me.
