بِالشّيبِ عُنْوانُ البلى
Carrying a staff, for one afflicted
The staff's burden for the afflicted one
with gray hair, is a sign of decay.
With grey hair is the mark of decay
وُصِفَwas described المُسافرُthe traveler أَنّهُthat he
وُصِفَ المُسافرُ أَنّهُ
أَلقىlaid down العَصاthe staff كيso that يَنزِلاhe might halt
أَلقى العَصا كي يَنزِلا
The traveler was described as having
