طوى المَنونُ الحَسَنا

طوى المَنونُ الحَسَنا

لذا طويتُ الشّجَنا

لذا طويتُ الشّجَنا

Death folded al-Hasan away;

Death has folded al-Hasan away;

and so I folded sorrow away.

Therefore, I have folded grief away.

فالحمدُ للهِ الذي

أَذهبَ عنّا الحَزَنا

أَذهبَ عنّا الحَزَنا
