وما الأبُ إلاّ الأبُ ما عاشً لابنِهِ

وما الأبُ إلاّ الأبُ ما عاشً لابنِهِ

وآبَ لهُ طيبُ الحَياةِ إذا بلي

وآبَ لهُ طيبُ الحَياةِ إذا بلي

And a father is a father only so long as he lives for his son,

The father is but the father as long as he lives for his son

and life's sweetness returns to him when he is worn with age.

And strives to give him a good life when he grows up
