خذمةُ الخِصيانِ في العين عمىً

خذمةُ الخِصيانِ في العين عمىً

فاستفدْ منهُم وفي القلب عمَهْ

فاستفدْ منهُم وفي القلب عمَهْ

Serving eunuchs is blindness in the eye;

Serving the castrated results in blindness of the eye,

So benefit from them, with bewilderment in the heart.

So benefit from them, but blindness remains in the heart.

مَن زنى فليتبطّنْ حُرّةً

مَن زنى فليتبطّنْ حُرّةً

وليكُفَّ اليدَ عن كلِّ أَمَهْ

وليكُفَّ اليدَ عن كلِّ أَمَهْ

Whoever fornicates, let him bed a free woman,

He who commits adultery should act discreet,

And let him keep his hand away from every slave woman.

And restrain the hand from every loose woman.
