سَميّكَ وَالمَنسوبُ مِن قَبلُ وَالَّذي

سَميّكَ وَالمَنسوبُ مِن قَبلُ وَالَّذي

يُناديكَ مِن بُعد أَتى لَكَ يا باجي

يُناديكَ مِن بُعد أَتى لَكَ يا باجي

Your namesake, linked to you of old, who

The one who named you and attributed you from before

Calls to you from afar, has come to you, O Baji.

And the one who calls you from afar has come to you, O Baji

يُقَبِّلُ بالإِجلالِ أَعتابَ بابِكُم

يُقَبِّلُ بالإِجلالِ أَعتابَ بابِكُم

وَيَسلُكُ في التَبجيلِ أَعظَمَ مِنهاجِ

وَيَسلُكُ في التَبجيلِ أَعظَمَ مِنهاجِ

He reverently kisses the thresholds of your door,

He kisses the threshold of your door with veneration

And follows the greatest path of veneration.

And follows the greatest approach in reverence

وَيَرجو مِنَ الرَبِّ الكَريمِ بِجاهِكُم

وَيَرجو مِنَ الرَبِّ الكَريمِ بِجاهِكُم

مُناهُ وَما يَرجوهُ في النَفسِ مِن حاج

مُناهُ وَما يَرجوهُ في النَفسِ مِن حاج

And through your standing, he looks in hope to the generous Lord

And hopes from the Generous Lord through your dignity

For his heart’s desires and whatever needs he inwardly hopes to fulfill.

His wish and what he wishes in himself from need

فَسَل هَيِّناً مِن رَبِّكُم لِبُنَيِّكُم

فَسَل هَيِّناً مِن رَبِّكُم لِبُنَيِّكُم

بِجاهِ الرَسولِ المُرتَجى صاحِبِ التاجِ

بِجاهِ الرَسولِ المُرتَجى صاحِبِ التاجِ

So ask your Lord, for your little son, for something easily granted,

So ask gently from your Lord for your sons

By the standing of the Messenger in whom hope is placed, bearer of the crown.

By the dignity of the hoped Messenger, owner of the crown

عَلَيهِ صَلاةُ اللَهِ ثُمَّ سَلامُهُ

عَلَيهِ صَلاةُ اللَهِ ثُمَّ سَلامُهُ

وَآل وَصَحبٍ ما سَجا لَيلُهُ الداجي

وَآل وَصَحبٍ ما سَجا لَيلُهُ الداجي

Upon him be God’s blessing, and then His peace,

Upon him, Allah's prayers and then peace

And upon his family and companions, as long as the dark night lies still.

And family and companions whatever his night obscured

وَزادَكَ زُلفى عِندَهُ وَكَرامَةً

وَزادَكَ زُلفى عِندَهُ وَكَرامَةً

وَفَضلاً وَبِرّاً يُوسِعُ القاصِدَ الراجي

وَفَضلاً وَبِرّاً يُوسِعُ القاصِدَ الراجي

And may He increase you in nearness to Him and in honor,

And increase your intimacy with Him and honor

And in bounty and kindness that enrich the hopeful seeker.

And grace and righteousness that satisfies the aspiring suitor
