And a fountain in a garden, like a halo,

Upon a branch like silver that had risen high.

We kept vigil beside it, and the stars seemed like

Garden daisies, delighting the eyes of the gathering.

And when dawn drew near, it feared their withering,

So it sent them limpid water, as drizzle and downpour.
