وَيَصلي غالِبَ الأَكبادِ جَمراً
I see the army of death hurling arrowheads,
I see the army of deviance hurling blades,
And searing most hearts with burning coals.
And the victor of livers offering embers in prayer.

يَقومُis equivalent بِرُزءِto the loss of كُلِّهِمُall of them وَمَرّاand it passed on
يَقومُ بِرُزءِ كُلِّهِمُ وَمَرّا
So when they deemed it formidable, it stealthily slew one man,
When they deemed him too great, he ambushed a lone horseman,
Whose loss equals that of them all—and it passed on.
Who withstands their every mockery and bitterness.
أَماis there not فيin فَقدِthe loss of إِبراهيمَIbrahim خَطبٌa calamity

يَعُمّ جَميعَ أَهلِ الأَرضِ طُرّا
Is there not in Ibrahim's loss a calamity
Verily in the loss of Ibrahim there is grief
That encompasses all the people of the earth, one and all?
Encompassing all the people of earth utterly.
سَقىmay he water الرَحمانُthe All-Merciful تُربَتَهُhis grave سَحاباclouds
سَقى الرَحمانُ تُربَتَهُ سَحابا

مِنَ الرحمى وَرَضوانٍ أَبَرّا
May the All-Merciful water his grave with clouds
The Merciful One watered his soil with clouds
Of mercy and divine favor, most bountiful.
Of mercy and great favor most righteous.
