وَمَنAnd whoever يُطِعِheeds الواشينَthe slanderers لاnot يَترُكواthey leave لَهُfor him
وَمَن يُطِعِ الواشينَ لا يَترُكوا لَهُ
صَديقاًa friend وَإِنand even if كانَhe were الحَبيبَthe beloved المُقَرَّباthe one held close
صَديقاً وَإِن كانَ الحَبيبَ المُقَرَّبا
And whoever heeds the slanderers, they will not leave him
He who listens to slanderers will find
a friend, even if he were beloved and held close.
That even his dearest friend forsakes him.
