ياO فَتحُFath ياO فاتِحاًone who opens لبَلوائيto my affliction
يا فَتحُ يا فاتِحاً لبَلوائي
وياand O عليماًwell aware بِطولِof the length of شَكوائيmy lament
ويا عليماً بِطولِ شَكوائي
O Fath, O you who open the door to my affliction,
O Opener, O You who opens my afflictions,
And O you who know the length of my lament,
And O Knower of the length of my complaints,
الحمدُpraise للهِto God لاno شريكَpartner لهُto Him
الحمدُ للهِ لا شريكَ لهُ
مولاكَyour master عَبديmy slave وأنتَand you مَولائيmy master
مولاكَ عَبدي وأنتَ مَولائي
Praise be to God; He has no partner.
Praise be to Allah, He has no partner,
Your master is my slave, and you are my master.
You are my Master, and You are my Protector.
