إِنَّindeed الخَليطَthe companions أَجَدّواthey resolved upon البَينَparting فَاِنجَرَدواso they sped away
إِنَّ الخَليطَ أَجَدّوا البَينَ فَاِنجَرَدوا
وَأَخلَفوكَand they failed you عِداpromises concerning الأَمرِthe matter الَّذيwhich وَعَدواthey promised
وَأَخلَفوكَ عِدا الأَمرِ الَّذي وَعَدوا
Indeed, the companions resolved to part, so they sped away.
They found the gap between us wide, so they withdrew,
And they broke their promises to you concerning what they had pledged.
And failed you, save what they had promised you
