يَؤُبْنَ مع الركاب بكل مصر

ويأتين الأقاول بالسراتِ

They return with the camel caravans in every town,

Travel with the riders throughout Egypt

And reach the princes in al-Sarat:

And come with provisions in caravans

غواثر لا سواقط مكفآت

Copious, not feeble or thrown awry

Favors not mere windfalls or rewards

By faulty rhyming, nor carefully sifted.
