The dreamers say you're right,

I said, “Far from it! All that is vapor.

I say no, that's all fancy,

ليت يقظانهم له الأم

ليت يقظانهم له الأم

ر فكيف المغطّ والنحّار

ر فكيف المغطّ والنحّار

Would that their wakeful one had command—

If only their wakefulness matched their sleep

then what of the snorer and the snorter?”

How better cloaked and masked they'd be.
