We love pleasures and fear calamities.

So we are like a virgin who desires, yet is afraid.

I see people in this world like a shepherd—so changed

Are his pastures that none offers a place to graze.

So can pasture and shepherd sustain life without water?

And where I see water and pasture, there is a place to eat one's fill.
