1. وعضوين في الإنسان لا عظم فيهما

    هما سببا إصلاحه وفساده

    And two organs in a human being have no bone in them;

    They are the two causes of his reform and his corruption.

  2. إذا صلحا كان الصلاح له هما

    وإن فسدا لم يحظ يوم معاده

    If both are sound, they are his righteousness;

    And if both are corrupt, he will find no favor on the day of his return.
