and he devours the little together with the plenty.

And he devours the little along with the much.

ويبقى البائس الأعمى حسيرا

كسير القلب في دار الأسير

كسير القلب في دار الأسير

The hapless blind man is left forlorn,

And the wretched blind man is left exhausted,

brokenhearted in the captive’s abode.
