جميل فكن قابلا أجمله
Whenever something fine appears to you in a friend,
If ever there appears to you from a friend

Never ask what hearts conceal,
And do not ask about what hearts conceal,
for you have no need of asking.
for you have no need to inquire.

For you will not find a fair-minded companion

who saw truth in prudence and put it into practice:

Eat the greens, wherever they are brought to you from,
