أرى الدنيا تبيد ومن عليها

أرى الدنيا تبيد ومن عليها

ويبقى وجه ربك ذي الجلال

ويبقى وجه ربك ذي الجلال

I see the world perish, and all who are upon it.

I see the world perishing, and those upon it

And the face of your Lord, Possessor of Majesty, remains.

Yet the Face of your Lord, full of Majesty endures

فلا تعترّ بالدنيا فإنّي

فلا تعترّ بالدنيا فإنّي

أرى الدنيا تصير إلى زوال

أرى الدنيا تصير إلى زوال

So do not be beguiled by the world, for I

So be not deceived by this world, for I see

See the world coming to an end.

The world fading, to destruction assured
