خُروجي بَعدَما أَبلَيتُ عُذراً

وَلَم أَجِدِ السَبيلَ إِلى المُقامِ

My departure came after I had exhausted every plea,

My departure, after I have exhausted excuses

And found no way to stay;

And could not find a way to stay

وَكانَت فُرقَةُ الأَحبابِ حَتماً

وَكانَت فُرقَةُ الأَحبابِ حَتماً

فَلا تُكثِر عَلَيَّ مِنَ المَلامِ

فَلا تُكثِر عَلَيَّ مِنَ المَلامِ

And parting from loved ones was inevitable,

Was destined when friends departed

So do not heap blame upon me.

So do not blame me much
