زادَكَmay He grant you more اللَهُGod سُروراًjoy إِنَّindeed مَنthe one whom
زادَكَ اللَهُ سُروراً إِنَّ مَن
كُنتَyou were مُشتاقاًlonging إِلَيهِfor him قَدindeed قَدِمhas arrived
كُنتَ مُشتاقاً إِلَيهِ قَد قَدِم
May God increase your joy; indeed, the one
May God increase your joy, for the one
you longed for has arrived.
You were longing for has now arrived
عِشlive قَريرَat peace العَينِthe eye مَسروراًrejoicing بِهِin him
عِش قَريرَ العَينِ مَسروراً بِهِ
فَيَزيدُfor He increases اللَهُGod بِالشُكرِthrough gratitude النِعَمthe blessings
فَيَزيدُ اللَهُ بِالشُكرِ النِعَم
Live with eyes at peace, rejoicing in him;
Live with delight, happy that he is here
for God increases blessings through gratitude.
And God will increase blessings if you give thanks
ياO أَمينَtrusted one اللَهِof God وَالساعيand the one who strives لَهُfor Him
يا أَمينَ اللَهِ وَالساعي لَهُ
خَيرُthe best داعٍcaller قامَarose فيamong خَيرِthe best of الأُمَمthe nations
خَيرُ داعٍ قامَ في خَيرِ الأُمَم
O God's trusted one and the one who strives for Him,
O trustee of God, working for Him
the best caller to arise among the best of nations.
The best caller who rose among the best of nations
حَبَّذاhow fine الأَرضُthe land الَّتيwhich أُوطِنتَهاyou were settled in it
حَبَّذا الأَرضُ الَّتي أُوطِنتَها
أَرضُa land عِزٍّof glory وَجِهادٍand striving فَأَقِمso remain
أَرضُ عِزٍّ وَجِهادٍ فَأَقِم
How fine is the land where you have been settled:
Blessed is the land where you were settled
a land of glory and striving—so remain.
A land of honor and jihad, so remain
