فَأَكرَمُ أَسبابِ الرَدى سَبَبُ الحُبِّ
If a person has no escape from death,
If death is inevitable for a man
then the noblest cause of death is love.
Then the cause of love is the noblest cause for death

And if anyone could conceal love from his own heart,
Even if someone concealed love in his heart
I would have died without my heart knowing of my love for you.
He would die, and my heart would not know your love

When told to convey greetings to you, I recoil

My heart melts, and the darkness of sorrow clears
