أَقَلَّreduced الزيارَةَthe visits لَمّاwhen بَداbecame apparent
أَقَلَّ الزيارَةَ لَمّا بَدا
لَهُto him الصَرمُestrangement أَوor بَعضُsome of أَسبابِهِits causes
لَهُ الصَرمُ أَو بَعضُ أَسبابِهِ
He reduced his visits when there appeared
He lessened the visits when
to him estrangement, or some of its causes.
Illness appeared, or some of its causes,
وَماand not صَدَّturned away عَمداًdeliberately وَلَكِنَّهُbut he
وَما صَدَّ عَمداً وَلَكِنَّهُ
طَريدُone driven away مَلالَةِthe weariness of أَحبابِهِhis loved ones
طَريدُ مَلالَةِ أَحبابِهِ
He did not turn away deliberately, but he is
And not intentionally, but
driven away by his loved ones’ weariness.
As a victim of his loved ones' boredom.
