My soul be the ransom for this sick—
My soul I'd sacrifice for this beloved land
—one; my heart has grown tender with concern for him.
My heart has now become affectionately kind

I shall compel my eyes to prolonged weeping,
I will obligate my eyes with crying ever long
so they shall find no relief until he recovers.
So let them not awaken, until they both awake
