إِقبَلواaccept وُدّيmy love فَقَدfor indeed أَهدَيتُهُI have gifted it
إِقبَلوا وُدّي فَقَد أَهدَيتُهُ
ثُمَّthen كافونيrepay me بِصَدٍّwith rejection فَهوَfor it is وُدُّlove
ثُمَّ كافوني بِصَدٍّ فَهوَ وُدُّ
Accept my love, for I have bestowed it.
Come and accept my love, for I have given it freely
Then repay me with rejection, for it is love.
Then repay me with sincerity, for it too is love
هَذِهِthis نَفسيmy soul لَكُمto you مَوهوبَةٌgiven as a gift
هَذِهِ نَفسي لَكُم مَوهوبَةٌ
خَيرُthe best ماwhat يوهَبُis given ماwhat لاnot يُستَرَدُّis taken back
خَيرُ ما يوهَبُ ما لا يُستَرَدُّ
This soul of mine is given to you as a gift.
I offer my soul to you all
The best gift is one that is not taken back.
The best gift is that which cannot be taken back
