لَمdid not يَبقَremain مِمَّنof those who يَتَّقيfears اللَهَGod خالِياًin solitude
لَم يَبقَ مِمَّن يَتَّقي اللَهَ خالِياً
وَيُطعِمُand feeds others إِلّاexcept خالِدُKhalid اِبنُson of أَسيدِAsid
وَيُطعِمُ إِلّا خالِدُ اِبنُ أَسيدِ
None remains of those who fear God in solitude
None remains who fears God in solitude
and feed others, except Khalid son of Asid,
And feeds others, save Khaled ibn Asid.
سِوىbesides مَعشَرٍa company لاnot يَبلُغُreaches المَدحُpraise فَضلَهُمtheir merit
سِوى مَعشَرٍ لا يَبلُغُ المَدحُ فَضلَهُم
مَناعيشَsustainers لِلمَولىfor the dependent مَطاعِمَgivers of food جودِgenerous
مَناعيشَ لِلمَولى مَطاعِمَ جودِ
besides a company whose merit praise cannot reach—
A fellowship beyond all praise are they -
sustainers of the dependent, generous givers of food.
Sustenance for the Lord, and food for the needy.
