كَأَنَّ مُشَنَّقاً غولٌ أَضَلَّت
بَنيهاher sons عِندَbeside أَخبِيَةِtents التِجارِthe merchants
بَنيها عِندَ أَخبِيَةِ التِجارِ
As though Mushannaq were a ghoul who had lost
As if a ghoul, a hanged man, had misled
her sons beside the merchants’ tents.
