They plunged into it as they scattered

as droplets, then became meaning made tangible.

I contemplate it amid a mingling of feelings,

content with an unexpressed joy.

The sights before me are part of

its radiance, and some of it is not understood.

wondrous and blissful.

And as if I were one of them, from afar I delight

in what delighted them, and revel in imagination.

Chirpings, as though the strings of my heart

had played them for the birds in smiling tenderness.

And so they stirred soft throats,

playing with every murmured verse.

Do not flee from me, for that does not please me,

and my soul is devoted to you, enthralled by love.

Moments like these belong to my life,
